this is my new pet. the species is a Sinaloan Milksnake. Despite the red, black, yellow stripe pattern, this isnt to be confused with the very similar and very venomous Coral Snake. you just gotta know the order of the colors to know the difference between the two. I cant wait for him (or her) to get bigger. hopefully more photos soon.
you can tell the sex by how the tail ends. it's hard to explain when i can't show you so go here and it'll help you; [link] other wise you can get him/her probed but they have to be over a year old for that i think. She/he is a very beautiful snake tho
well ive never really noticed a bulge thingy like that of a female so im assuming its a male. im not sure how old it is though. i just got it on monday. thanks for the help

Hot afternoons, we'd climb onto the neighbors house. Breathed deep and jumped into a waiting sky. Our bare feet were framed on the horizon. I felt the future in your eyes.

Milksnakes AREN'T poisonous. And it looks about 3-5 months old, prob no younger than that as it is much too big. Maybe older than 5 months tho. It's hard to say, if you get a picture of his/her slit downwards I might be able to help. As I had to sex my own snake <.<
i know they arent poisonous lol, you think id own it if it was yea, im gonna try to take more photos. tomorrow i should get some better ones.
