I bought some cool things today. First off I finally got a crochet hook! Very excited about starting some crochet projects and if I can find my camera anywhere I'll be putting up a pic of some knitting scarves ive done. Another thing I bought was some necklace constructing materials so I can *try* to make some necklaces out of some of the shark teeth ive found. Crafting is kind of fun haha. If anything at least its keeping me creating whilst I am without a tablet I did a sweet drawing though mechanical pencil to paper thats currently WIP but if I can only find a camera (scanner is broken) I'll put what I have so far for feedback. It's been a while since I did traditional work hopefully youll like it

Well I just thought I'd let you guys know that despite my not having a tablet and digital art being what I most like to work in I've recently decided to pick up a pencil and see what I got and I gotta say traditional is a lot funner than I remember it. Sooo hopefully within the next couple of weeks I'll start getting more art up! I'm gonna also take more photos and put some of my knitting projects up. I've recently finished a scarf I've been working on and I like it. Knitted the whole thing from scratch so hopefully you guys will like it too. Will have it up within a week or so. Also I'd like to point out that even though I haven't recently updated this journal or posted any new art, I do check here quite often and browse a lot and fave a whole lot and respond to comments so I'm not on like a dA hiatus or anything haha.

i found on the internet a beach about an hour or so from my house that is known for a lot of shark teeth to wash up. So i went to check it out and found a shit ton! here's a pic of my 2 biggest ones so far [link] the one on the right is from a Sand Tiger Shark and the one on the left is from a Hemipristis Serra aka Snaggletooth Shark which is an extinct species! pretty rad if you ask me. I'm gonna go there frequently to get many more in hopes to one day get a Megalodon tooth! and if you dont know what the Megalodon is to put it simply imagine a great white shark thats longer and heavier than a whale shark. theres your megalodon. youve probably seen the jaws of them in an aquarium or museum where you stand by them and the jaws alone tower over you, those things are no joke! Google it! maybe i'll make necklaces out of the ones ive found

i hate when people talk about sharks like theyre mindless people killing machines. i hate when people kill them just to use their fins in soup. there is an average of about 10 shark attacks per year. there are about 100,000 sharks killed each year by people. who is afraid of who, again? Sharks are much more a significant part of life than one may think and at this rate im sure dozens of species will be extinct in my generation. It's not only sharks, though. I hate ignorance. I don't plan to sit around and rant about this. I have plans. I can't wait til I can launch my clothing line. Oops...did i say that out loud?
